The 15 MWp solar power plant at Al Kharj is the biggest commercial large-scale project ever built in Saudi Arabia by Ethraa Co. Ltd. Located 77 kilometers south of Riyadh, with 45,300 installed crystalline PV modules spread over an area of 30 hectares. It marks a successful entry into a new and growing market. We take pride in helping our clients to meet their economic and ecologic goals, using ground mounted solar fix system, up to 30,000 MWh of electricity per year are produced, enough for about 4,700 Saudi households. Over a period of 25 years, in which the state-owned grid operator company is supplied, 375,000 thousand tons of CO2 will be saved.
